We believe in creating beautiful healthy environments. Ideas and innovation are powerful tools as are skill in craft and construction.

Architecture requires a certain respect for context of a place, as important as the value of interdependence of nature and the man-made.  A building is part of a city as much as a representation of it.  And the same holds true of nature and a building. 

The efficacy of technology is meaningful when harnessed for the greater good. We seek its value in the built environment as we look for simplicity of solution derived from complexity with the economy of means.

We approach projects without a preconceived notion. Searching for the right solution with instinct tempered by experience.  All assumptions are questioned, pulled apart and put back together.  We love to ask why.  And want a better order in things that surrounds us.

Most answers are hidden in the very question. The key is asking the right question.  Solutions lie in the program for the design.  Hence analysis and process is given their due care. 

The pursuit is for timelessness in Architecture, that is as free from style of the season or fashion of the moment.

We believe Architecture is an individualized meditative creative work, as much as it is a collaborative journey.  It is more so, in the current technologically advanced society with the challenges of sustainability of the planet.  This journey includes the Owner and Architect and all the other participants; the consultants, the experts, the building managers, the users, the community at large and of course the builder.

A clarity of vision throughout the design process is fundamental to resolve contradictory challenges of design. Whatever the scale and intricacy of the project.

The schedule is our compass. The project budget is on our watch. And communication is glue that holds the process together.
